If you’ve been following my site you know that this year at Lake Wenatchee was an awesome fishery. With over 70,000 sockeye returning to the lake it seemed like everyone was catching limits.
Generally we used the information about fishing for sockeye that I’ve posted on this site. Our best setup was a 00 chrome dodger, with some 2/0 red hooks with a red bead on top of each hook. Tied on 20 pound fluorocarbon for a total of an 8 inch leader.
This video is the highlights from one day, when I fished on a friend’s boat. We limited the boat with a total of 18 sockeye, by about 9:00am.
