Recently I had an opportunity to get out on Puget Sound for some crabbing with friends. Even though in past years we’ve had consistent success, this year has been off the charts so far.
This pot is typical of the ones we pulled up. 50+ crab after letting the pot soak for about an hour.
Not only did we limit the boat, but had many keeper crab we had to throw back. Many crab exceeded the minimum size by a decent amount.
