How To Best Attach A Plug

A critical component to plugs being able to work effectively is how they are attached to your line.  If they don’t have the right freedom of movement, then they will not have as much of that fish attracting wiggle that they are designed to produce.

Most plugs come with a duo lock snap attached to them.  It is the roundness of that snap that gives the needed freedom of movement.  Just tie your line directly to that snap.

As you use plugs eventually you’ll find yourself just removing the snaps, and having a single snap on your line.  Then switching plugs doesn’t require cutting your line and tying a new knot.
